Pupils at Ramsgate Arts Primary are obtaining prepared to rock with guitars, keyboards, drums and vocals.
They is going to be doing many high energy music workshops with professionals with the Rocksteady education team.
The group’s tutor, Matt Palmer, roared to life the volume by using a powerful assembly at RAPS to interact with pupils who was simply soon clapping and singing along.
In his dynamic demonstration he highlighted different instruments he was playing and explained a real difference between acoustic and electric equipment, using the accent very firmly on learning potentially profitable new skills all night . fun.

He highlighted numerous drum beats and fills, guitar licks and keyboard parts and performed excerpts from hits including We shall Rock Collectively Uptown Funk.
He said: “The children were awesome in assembly C their reaction was fantastic. Our aim is to encourage those to explore various instruments and earn some noise, create some music energy and extremely go to town.
“We is only looking at contemporary music within our sessions – it helps them feel great about themselves. They’re going to develop self-confidence and skills as they simply progress and play of their school rockband.”

Head of School Nick Budge said: “The children stood a wow on the time with Matt in assembly. Music is usually an international language but it helps disintegrates a lot of barriers.

“The Rocksteady assembly am positive and energising we’ve asked the theifs to get RAPS rocking with workshop sessions.”
