The Iowa Board of Regents has approved plans for a new Bs in Nursing degree at Iowa State University.
The RN-BSN can be a continuation program suitable for rn’s C those being employed in the area and even recent graduates of approved nursing programs C who wish to earn their bachelor’s degree. Virginia “Ginny” Wangerin, a clinical assistant professor and director of nursing education at Iowa State, says the campus-based program meets a desire as increasing numbers of hospitals and health care providers require or encourage nurses to obtain a BSN degree.
