She once thought fruit flies were just annoying little bugs, however right now Elizabeth McNeill spends her time studying them together with her research.
McNeill joined the Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition as an assistant professor earlier this month. Having earned her bachelor of science degree in biology from Iowa State in 2002, McNeill said she appreciated the dedication faculty members had toward students while she was an undergraduate and knew she needed to revisit campus being a professional.
