Lucky Laleham Gap! That is definitely how staff, pupils and parents ‘re feeling after their annual sports day and Summer fair. But not only was sunshine shining right through the day but clearly there was a pleasant turnout from parents, a great vibe and it all occurred on National Ping pong Day!
In the morning parents were treated to 80 metre races, obstacle courses with spacehoppers and amazing relays C all humourously introduced my Mr “M.C.” Clements.

Mr Welsh, head of PE on the school, said: “I was ncredibly impressed for the effort from your pupils. That it was great to determine. It absolutely was also lovely to observe the amount they have got bought into winning and losing as an element of sport which may be fun to join and so they did so enthusiastically.”

With is caused by many athletic events this complete term including to sports day, the ultimate result was nail-biting C with Walpole just using trophy.
Parents went directly from sports day to Summer fair. There seemed to be numerous events and stalls, several run by the pupils. Karaoke was a favourite however the ?the superior event was the stocks! With staff taking it in turns pupils could continually soak them for the full two hours! Some stalls involved learning C or at a minimum estimating.

Assistant head teacher Mrs Scobie’s car was requisitioned and brimming with balloons so pupils could guess how many there was clearly. Mrs Scobie was delighted to know the prize has not been to give away her car, today some goodies.
As the wedding coincided with National Table Tennis day a ‘Hit the Target’ and ‘Beat The Teacher’ game underlined the afternoon was exactly about fun.

Mrs Scobie said: “Today was an extremely lovely illustration showing the Laleham Gap Community C parents, pupils and staff C joining together.”
The fair raised some 800 which are employed for outdoor equipment.
Ice cream treat

Laleham Gap pupils did not know it but on the last day of term the institution had organised one final special treat for a i appreciate you for 12 months of great work and achievement.
Mid morning an goodies van arrived to ensure that every pupil each employee would’ve their pick of goodies!
Head teacher Les Milton, Headteacher said:”It was really a tradition on the school recently as soon as they was on two different sites. This has been marvellous to re-invent that tradition now we’re also united together in just one new school. It had been particlarly to reward your kids and also the staff for the fantastic year now we have had at the moment. The smiles on their faces once we told the pupils after which while they got their ‘just desserts’ showed it absolutely was completely the correct choice with an end of the year treat.”
The re-invented tradition may ?now become a once a year event.
