Students pair with professors to check out food safety, food security, kids

An eight-week program this summer paired undergraduate students with Iowa State professors in food science and human nutrition to conduct research associated with food safety, food security, and kids. The Cyclone Scholar Summer Research Program, directed by assistant professor Shannon Coleman, is ready to accept any college-aged student enthusiastic about the region of food science and human nutrition. The 2010 program attracted students from as far off as Ny, Arizona, and Georgia.
