Pupils at St Laurence-in-Thanet Junior School in Ramsgate took part inside of a careers day.
The youngsters from years 5 and 6 met representatives from 12 different career areas, with a midwife, a photographer, the fireplace service, a Polar scientist, your local chef and restaurant owner, Thanet District Council, a construction company, a head teacher and East Kent College.
Pupils had time to have a chat to your visitors and request questions their jobs.
One year 6 pupil said: “I didn’t realise there were countless careers that I could be excited about!”
Guests commented about how polite and enthusiastic the children were.
Head teacher Michelle Palmer said: “This had been a fantastic potential for our. They learned about many careers and as a result, some have already been beginning plan their futures!
“We would choose to thank our visitors for producing the morning stand out and provoking. High quality to next year’s event being even larger and better.”
