The magical and mysterious whole world of Alice’s adventures in Wonderland captivated children and parents when Ramsgate Arts Primary pupils latched onto takes place now.
The cast from Years 5,4 3 worked tirelessly with teacher John Williams, who directed the show, and with staff and the school’s partner theatre group Regency Performing Arts.
Their zany form of Alice The Musical – written for schools by Mike Smith and Keith Dawson – had each of the parts of the classic story by Lewis Carroll.
All the widely used characters that confront Alice journey are there, like white rabbit, the mad hatter, dormouse plus the March hare, the Cheshire cat, the king and queen of hearts as well as their pack of cards courtiers.

The story was woven as well as catchy songs and high-energy dances by 50 percent shows C one for pupils as well as an evening performance for people and friends.
Mr Williams said: “The children were very enthusiastic during rehearsals so they worked hard on their acting and dance routines. They made their very own costume accessories and props in art classes C it was actually very much their show.”
Head of faculty Nick Budge praised the cast and crew.
He said: “As the area’s only arts primary school we knew our first show since opening was very important to us all.
“It was obviously a cracker C the pupils, our staff and Regency Performing Arts are a brilliant team and they also presented us with just any type of vibrant and colourful reveal that we wanted as RAPS’ first main production.”
RAPS shall be taking care of new projects with Regency Performing Arts from the new school year from September.
