Iowa State researchers are part of a national alliance that won a $10 million grant from your National Science Foundation. The alliance will experience programs that improve the overall diversity and effectiveness of college teaching science, technology, engineering, and math. Iowa State’s part of the project targets using the services of vocational schools to recruit and make preparations a large pair of students for teaching careers at vocational schools.
Lorenzo Baber, an affiliate professor inside?School of Education?and head within the advanced schooling division belongs to Iowa State’s grant team, that’s led by Craig Ogilvie, an assistant dean for Iowa State’s?Graduate College?along with a Morrill Professor of?physics and astronomy.
