Forget Simon Cowell and the judges C Newington Community Primary School in Ramsgate had their unique X-Factor when it stumbled on festive talent shows.
Have You bought The Xmas Factor? saw many different festive themed acts take centre stage before families and pupils who raised the roofing to encourage them.

The judging panel gave their verdicts who were greeted by cheers (and jeers) in true X Factor style, while two pupils compared proceedings and kept everything working efficiently.
Among the performers within the spotlight within the fast-moving show were groups of costumed drummers, angels, shepherds, sheep, innkeepers, kings, Mary and Joseph. The finale was a rousing sort of this guitar rock band Aid charity festive hit Can they Know Its Christmas?

The show was staged and carried out by Year 6 pupils with teacher Matt Rigden directing, assisted by fellow teacher Taralee Kennedy.

Head Teacher Cliff Stokes said: “It was really a really lively show in true X Factor style. We had some spirited performances and the audience certainly played their part and permit judges understand what they thought of their opinions.

“It certainly proved that if family interaction to generate fun entertainment, Newington has the X Factor.”
