A mini adventure has led children aged four and five to see the whole world of wildlife initially hand.
The Reception class pupils at Chilton Primary in Ramsgate explored Wingham Wildlife Centre in their first ever school trip.
They had the ability to investigate numerous animals safely yet at close quarters, including bears, lemurs, chimps, tigers, bats and penguins.
The trip was the final outcome of these topic work researching farms.
This has included creating farm collage pictures; learning where we our food from and tasting different produce that gets made on farms.
They even made their own personal bread observed out around the different food we from animals.
And the journey to Wingham, featuring a scaled dinosaur replicas, seemed to be the beginning for their next adventure C the field of prehistoric creatures.
Head of Early Years at Chilton is assistant head of college Hannah Cheshire. She said: “We shall be learning dinosaur facts to setup non-fiction books.
“We will generate a short information film about dinosaurs that we’ll show to oldsters. Included in our Maths learning, your kids will compare the sizes of dinosaur footprints and set them as a way. We’re going to also measure them as making each of our dinosaur top trump games.”

The children were amazed at their Wingham adventure, which included exploring a chain link play area.
Ted said: “I loved the dinosaurs. My favourite one was T-Rex;” Emily asked “is it possible to use a school trip everyday?”; while Lily said quite simply :”I love the tigers.”
Miss Cheshire added: “Going for a school trip allows you give the children a reason for his or her learning. It generates enthusiasm to the new topic we can be covering. You’ll find it created a a sense of awe and wonder with the pupils.”
