Chilton Primary School in Ramsgate features a new assistant head of faculty.
Matt Lamprell has joined the senior leadership team and says he or she is relishing the battle.
He said: “I am proud and privileged to get working with such fantastic staff and inquisitive children; there is also been brilliant being a member of the rewarding technique of seeing pupils progress and reach a safe, secure and resourceful environment.
“My highly motivated, ambitious and passionate attitude towards learning and teaching makes I make an effort to help every child that walks with the Chilton gate – not one person will likely be left out.”
Mr Lamprell joined from Napier Primary Academy in Gillingham and sees his involvement at Chilton as a possible important component of a career that she describes as “enjoyable, rewarding and successful.

He added: “I have gotten the pleasure to train and lead from a variety of school environments that are fitted with enabled me to bring about the tutorial and social expansion of children.
“I have experienced teaching and leading of both Key Stages through the school, subject curriculum areas just like Maths, PE and PSHE, and as well, having key roles as Deputy Designated Safeguard Lead and Governor.”
He will have responsibility for be Chilton’s Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 (Key Stage 2).
He joins the established leadership team of Head of college Kate Law, who’s overall responsibility for everyone things Chilton which is a part of the Viking Academy Trust leadership; Deputy Head of college Natalie Barrow who has general leadership of quality teaching and learning / achievement and standards; and Assistant Head of School Hannah Cheshire, who may have responsibility for Reception and Years 1 and a couple (Key Stage 1).

Mrs Law (pictured above) said: “Building strength to a leadership team makes certain that Chilton will continue to provide finest quality of education to any or all of the children.
“This is especially important after a couple of years of fantastic SATs results, while using the results for 2018 to be the highest which the school has ever achieved.
“Maintaining such excellence is always difficult although the leadership team manages an organization of very skilled and dedicated teachers, making Chilton an exilerating and dynamic school to have.
“This school year we are also developing middle leaders. It’s vital that you train and shape school leaders for the future. Doing your best with the school’s talent is actually a focus of the work.”
