Creative fun for the children at Chilton Primary School

Chilton primary pupils have taken part in a creative focus event aimed at providing a broad array of learning.

Reception children enjoying a sound book of their feature book corner, while Year 1 were checking whole world of traditional tales using ‘The Jolly Postman’ and writing in role.

Year 2 were exploring music and discovering notation, when participating in Year 3 pupils dressed as explorers testing their boats.

In contrast, Year 4 were creating colourful and challenging work inspired by the iconic model of pop art, while years 5 and 6 were making after which it playing their own individual attacking and defending games.

Head of faculty Kate Law said the main focus events are in a stimulating learning environment which is a the main ageda with the school in Ramsgate.

Pupils should celebrate their skills and enjoy the wider components of learning, this aspect was highlighted during the school’s ?recent Ofsted inspection where it received a good rating.

Head of college Kate Law said: “The broadest and quite a few diverse learning possible is something we think is essential make it possible for our pupils in order to meet and surpass their aspirations.

“It creates well-rounded younger people who can start working on your next stage of education which includes a range of skills, self-confidence, high ability levels with an inquisitive prefer to explore learning – it is the Chilton way.”
