The University of Florida’s longest-tenured dean, John Kraft, announced his decision to step down from his position at the Warrington College of economic as soon as the 2016-17 academic year.
Kraft continues to be Warrington’s dean since 1990 and definitely will?stay?on like a faculty member to teach and work with the college’s entrepreneurship, international business and real estate programs. He earned about $592,000 in 2015, depending on university records.
“The past 26 years happen to be incredibly rewarding,” Kraft said inside of a statement. “I am grateful for the dedicated faculty, staff, alumni, and friends within the college whose deal with contend with the perfect made my job infinitely more interesting.”
Kraft’s relationship while using the college stretches back nearly Fifty years, stemming from when he became a helper economics professor in 1970.
