Tai Jaune Robinson

While altogether of our own Student Spotlights have a remarkable student for grades and research, few of those know that they’re as inspirational to folks around them as Tai Jaune Robinson.

Tai, a sophomore Industrial Engineering student, had always wanted to enter engineering, but couldn’t know what kind would fit the ideal. During her school years at Youngstown Early College, she did research, finding that YSU as well as Industrial and Systems Engineering program were the best fit on her. Tai graduated YSU with your ex-girlfriend associate’s degree a short time before receiving her diploma from YEC.

While she isn’t studying on her classes, Tai is coaching her little league team and cheer squad. The East Side Dance Line, the fact that she had been a member, now enjoys having Tai for their coach and mentor. Tai also coaches the West Side Patriots, a small grouping of 11- to 13-yead-old girls. Under her coaching they brought home the first place victory through the Chaney Cheer Competition.

In addition to her outside activities, Tai is another individual in the nation’s Society for Black Engineers and spends some of her time tutoring. While at YSU, she has held two different internships. Her first internship was with Dr. Hans Tritico doing computer programing and data entry. Now, Tai is working together with M7 Technologies recording data, looking at failure analysis, and running Lean and 6 Sigma tests to discover ways to increase the industry.

Three of her greatest supporters are her mother, who she says is definitely encouraging her and it’s her pillar of strength, and Mr. and Mrs. Garvey. Mr. Garvey is the president and CEO of M7 Technologies. After graduation, Tai will keep on full-time at M7 focusing on more extensive projects. In addition to Tai’s internship having a top industrial company in the market, she has won awards such as Presidential Award for Excellence. Tai has been planning on continuing her dance career by opening her very own dance studio.

Tai wants forward to graduating together bachelor’s degree as well her mother graduates along with her Ph.D. Nancy the muse to her two brothers and sister, but she’s also inspired her father and grandmother, that are both studying hassle-free YSU.
