Steve Zaborsky

Many students despise those dreaded eight o’clock each and every morning classes. Some students rise much earlier and attain more before those eight o’clock classes than some students do non-stop. Steve Zaborsky, a junior Mechanical Engineering student, is among those students. Stumbling out of bed at five o’clock each morning, Steve computes, attends classes, volunteers his time, after which you can practices with the remainder on the football team.

Steve, a graduate of Austintown Fitch Highschool, enjoys what he does and staying busy. As being a mechanical engineering student, Steve excels in mathematics and sciences. As they is engaged in many different types of classes, there is more to being an outstanding STEMian than working hard academically.

Steve volunteers in the community with all the STEM Leadership Society (SLS) as well as the football team. He visits local schools along with his teammates to waste time using the children. Sometimes, the group is referred to as into remind kids what is required to have success, like labor and residing in school, and in some cases they can be called to undertake other activities, like reading with them.

Much products Steve does over a day-to-day basis is conducted by using a purpose. He wishes to be the better role model he’ll be, specifically more than purely the city. Steve wishes to be someone that his little brother, Charles, can look as many as because his parents are the most essential things to him. If this weren’t with the support of his brother, his mother Fia, and the father Jeff, he couldn’t survive where he or she is now.

“Anything I actually do,” Steve says, “they support it.” Steve chose YSU for many reasons, including YSU’s proximity by. And also being all around his family, Steve liked that YSU features a strong engineering program and that organizations like SLS reached over to him. By coming over to YSU, Steve has gained a lot more than knowledge; he’s gained a lengthy family. He enjoys having the capability to go to Dr. Hazel Marie and Dr. Dan Suchora with any problems he could have in academics. Together with the football team, Steve also looks up to Coach Wolford and Coach Sims for support.

“They keep me driving,” according to him. He continued to mention that he is proud and thankful to the chance they already have given him.

In the longer term, Steve might be attending and presenting at QUEST. The work is a hardwood lathe who has added tapered bearings, an auto, and cogbelt. After graduation, Steve intends on furthering his education, but is ‘open to anything.’
