A teddy bears’ picnic was an ideal begin to life at college for that group of 4 year olds in Ramsgate.
The children shall be starting at Ramsgate Arts Primary in Reception class in September. The university laid using a welcome for pupils and families to familiarise themselves while using site and meet new people and teachers.

They children were asked to take their favourite cuddly toys to mention the experience along with them, and so they were treated to the picnic on a sunny day from the newly-opened outdoor activity area.

Head of faculty Nick Budge said: “It was lovely to welcome our new Reception pupils and to see a great number of happy and smiling faces enjoying their first experience with Ramsgate Arts Primary.

“They had to chance to have a feel of what we’re all about and it was obviously a perfect possibility of them to meet other children that happen to be joining us in September, as well as to meet a lot of our teaching and support staff.

“Starting school is a huge step which is critical that our new intake feel safe, safe and happy of their new surroundings.

“Feedback from the pupils and families continues to be excellent and we’re awaiting seeing they when they start their educational journey at RAPS in September.”
