The American Chemical Society (ACS) student chapter at Youngstown State University has become selected to get a Commendable award because of its activities conducted through the 2015-2016 academic year.
More than 400 reports were submitted concerning chapter activity nationally. The ACS presented 46 outstanding, 93 commendable, and 145 honorable mention awards. The chapters that received awards are going to be honored with the 253rd ACS National Meeting and are generally indexed by the November/December issue of inChemistry.
Professor Michael Serra, the college advisor of YSU’s ACS chapter, was specifically recognized and congratulated from the ACS for leading this sort of outstanding group of students.
